Collette Professional Accounting opened for business in 2010. Firm principal Kathleen Collette holds an M.S. in Professional Accounting, is a CPA and an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) with many years of practice in the fields of accounting and taxation. Her experience began as an auditor with the firm now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers. Diversified work in taxation and auditing continued with such companies as H&R Block, her own accounting practice and Penchansky & Company, PLLC. Kathleen also served nearly five years as Controller and Treasurer of a power control design and manufacturing company.
Our core business focuses on accounting and taxation. We are a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Additionally, we offer startup and small business consulting services with wide ranging experience in the areas of intellectual property and patents.

Wayne Collette has a B.S. in Polymer Engineering and has decades of experience in research and development, specifically in the management of new technology conceptualization, development, commercialization and licensing. As VP of Research and Development at Continental PET Technologies, he was instrumental in leading a world class R&D team in the successful development and roll out of a multitude of innovative new Polyethylene Terephthalate packaging technologies, including the first clear plastic soft drink container. Wayne is personally named on over 100 international and domestic patents issued, most of which were successfully commercialized. He has significant experience in providing expert testimony to Patent Attorneys/Litigators and in interfacing with both the US and European Patent Offices.
